1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using PassAgent (“the service”), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of the service

PassAgent provides password management, automated password reset assistance, breach monitoring, and related features. When you use reset or automation features, our systems may access third-party websites on your behalf to complete the steps you request. You authorize this access when you initiate a reset or similar action.

3. Your responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials (including master password) secure.
  • You must use the service in compliance with applicable laws and these terms.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that your use of automation complies with the terms of third-party services.

4. Data and privacy

Our collection, use, and protection of your data are described in our Privacy Policy. We use Gmail and other integrations only as described there.

5. Automation and third-party access

When you use features that automate password resets or similar flows, our systems may programmatically access third-party websites and services on your behalf. We do this only when you explicitly start such a flow and only to the extent necessary.

6. Prohibited use

You may not: (a) use the service for any illegal purpose; (b) attempt to probe, attack, or compromise security; (c) resell or sublicense the service without our written permission; or (d) use automation in a way that violates the terms of third-party sites.

7. Intellectual property

We own the service, its design, and our branding. You retain ownership of your data. You grant us the rights necessary to operate the service.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not liable for outcomes of automated resets or third-party site behavior.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms. You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

12. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.
